The Job in a Nutshell💡
At Hala, becoming a non-bank issuer, and soon a non-bank acquirer, need arose for settlement, reconciliation and chargeback operations to ensure proper processing of financial transactions as well as correct settlement with the payment networks through partner bank.

What You Will Do❓

§  Perform reconciliation activities as necessary to ensure accurate processing of transactions at customer level and payment scheme levels.

§  Act on exceptions/discrepancies in coordination with financial operations.

§  Review incoming chargeback claims and log requests for chargeback initiation by the processor.

§  Coordinate when needed with customer services unit to obtain needed documentation from customer.

§  Follow up on the chargeback responses received and update customer complaint records accordingly.

§  Prepare reports and statistics for internal and external parties while maintaining accuracy and integrity.

What Are We Looking For❓

§  Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or equivalent field of studies

§  Experience in accounting and settlement, preferably if related to card payments (issuing and acquiring).

§  Accuracy and a keen eye on details

§  Acknowledgement and compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements

§  Good analytical, problem solving, and time management skills

§  Good communication skills in English and Arabic languages.
