    At Hala, Procurement manager is responsible of ensuring that services, spare parts, consumables & tools are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions. An important aspect of this role is seeking maximum value for the company through time and cost agreements while working with Railway and facility products

 


What You Will Do
❓

  • Create and implement strategic sourcing plans for various categories, including hardware, software, and professional services.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential suppliers.
  • Align sourcing strategies with the company’s overall business objectives and technology roadmap.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on capability, quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Develop a robust supplier base to support current and future product development needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all supplier-related issues and communications.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage supplier risk by developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best possible deals.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring they are legally sound and aligned with company policies.
  • Manage contract renewals and amendments to maintain favorable terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with product development, engineering, and operations teams to understand sourcing requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to align sourcing activities with budget and financial goals.
  • Partner with the legal team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Communicate sourcing strategies, goals, and performance metrics to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on sourcing activities, market trends, and supplier performance.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance.
  • Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) by balancing cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Continuously improve sourcing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline sourcing operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to drive sourcing excellence.

 

 

What Are We Looking For❓

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or equivalent field of studies
  • The education levels can be replaced by years of experience
  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Computer Skills: Advanced in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Advanced knowledge of compliance and regulations
