esponsibilities:
- Pre-Shift:
- Conduct staff briefings, reviewing menus, specials, and service procedures.
- Inspect the dining area for cleanliness and proper setup.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available.
- During Service:
- Oversee table assignments and seating arrangements.
- Take and communicate orders to the kitchen and bar efficiently.
- Monitor service flow and address any delays or hiccups promptly.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Post-Shift:
- Conduct staff debriefings, providing feedback and addressing any concerns.
- Assist with closing duties, such as resetting tables and restocking supplies.
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs.
Operational Focus:
The head waiter's operational focus involves ensuring efficient service delivery while maintaining quality standards and guest satisfaction. This includes:
- Table Management: Optimizing table utilization and seating arrangements to maximize revenue and guest comfort.
- Order Accuracy and Timing: Ensuring orders are taken correctly, communicated efficiently to the kitchen, and delivered promptly to guests.
- Inventory Control: Monitoring supplies and equipment, identifying potential shortages, and placing timely orders to avoid disruptions.
- Communication and Coordination: Maintaining clear communication with waitstaff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow.
- Problem-Solving: Addressing guest concerns, resolving service issues, and finding creative solutions to unexpected challenges.

Required Education
● Any of the below requirements:
Ø High School Diploma or Equivalent, or associate degree in hospitality management
Ø Restaurant Training Programs
Required Years of Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter or waitress
