- Execute and oversee the preparation of dishes within the assigned kitchen section.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes and follow proper cooking techniques.
- Contribute to menu planning and development, offering creative ideas and insights.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the designated kitchen section, following health and safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering, and minimize waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth overall kitchen operations
Other Related Assignments
● Proven experience as a Chef de partie or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
● Culinary degree or relevant training in culinary arts.
● Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
● Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
● Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
